How to install PVC homogeneous flooring

Here are the general steps for installing PVC homogeneous flooring:

1. Prepare the subfloor: The subfloor must be clean, level, and dry before installation.

2. Measure and cut the flooring: Measure and cut the flooring according to the size of the room, ensuring that the sheets are cut with enough overlap for joining.

3. Apply adhesive: Apply adhesive to the subfloor using a notched trowel.

4. Begin laying the flooring: Start from a corner of the room and lay the first sheet of flooring in place. Make sure it is properly aligned and has enough overlap to join with the adjacent sheets.

5. Join the sheets: Press the edges of the two sheets together to tightly join them and remove any air bubbles or wrinkles with a hand roller. Repeat this process for all the other sheets.

6. Cut the edges: Once all the sheets are laid, carefully cut the edges of the flooring along the perimeter of the room using a sharp utility knife.

7. Install finishing strips: Install finishing strips to cover the edges and provide a neat finish.

8. Allow the adhesive to dry: Let the adhesive dry completely for at least 24 hours before walking or placing heavy furniture on the flooring.
