How to Maintain The PVC Flooring

Daily
Remove dust with a broom or vacuum cleaner. This prevents dust or dirt from building up and makes it easier to maintain the floor.

Weekly
Clean once a week with a wet mop, such as warm water and a neutral detergent. This helps remove dirt and keeps the floor in top condition. Remember that you don't need a lot of water to clean the floor, and be aware that light-colored floors often need more frequent cleaning.

Remove Stains
Treat stains immediately, such as by spot cleaning by hand with a nylon pad and a neutral detergent. Clean from the outside of the stain toward the center, then rinse and mop with clean water.

• Oil, vinegar or lemon stains: should be removed immediately as they may cause discoloration on the surface of the vinyl floor
• Ink, tomato or blood stains can be removed by applying very diluted alcohol directly to the stain for a few minutes without scrubbing, then rinsing it off with water
• Pen and marker stains can be easily removed by wiping with a cloth slightly dampened with white alcohol and rinsing it off with water
• Rust stains should be cleaned with a rust-proof sponge and then rinsed off with water

5 cleaning and maintenance tips
- Place protective pads (such as felt) under the legs of heavy furniture, chairs and tables
- Avoid placing objects with rubber bottoms on vinyl flooring - otherwise it may cause stains.
- Use doormats at the entrance to prevent dirt or dust from being brought into the room and make cleaning easier. About 80% of dirt can be stopped there!
- Use natural, mild or neutral detergents to clean floors
- Keep hot items such as heaters, ashes or coals at a safe distance/height from vinyl tile plank flooring

Do not use the following to clean vinyl tile plank flooring

• Abrasive powders
• Black soap
• Acetone or solvents
• Wax or varnish
• Oil-based products
• Steam cleaners

Daily Use and Maintenance Issues with pvc floor sheet

• Fading: Vinyl sheet flooring can fade in sunlight. To prevent this, install blinds or curtains in rooms with large windows.
• Scratches: PVC floor sheet is easily scratched by furniture legs and pet claws. Use furniture pads under the legs of chairs and tables, and trim your pet’s nails regularly.
• Water damage: Water can damage vinyl sheet flooring. Wipe up spills immediately and wipe the floor with mild soapy water to prevent this. Do not install vinyl sheet flooring in rooms prone to moisture, such as bathrooms or laundry rooms.
• Adhesive failure: Vinyl sheet flooring may peel at the edges or corners if the adhesive fails. To prevent this, use thicker sheets in high-traffic areas.
